About the Conference

VIII Conference on Business Informatics 2022 

 Wrocław, Poland 1-2 December 2022 

 The Scientific Conference on Business Informatics is an annual meeting of scientists from Poland and invited researchers from foreign centers specializing in ICT in management and business. The aim of the conference is to present the results of research on applications of information systems and technologies to support management, business and public organizations. The conference creates a forum for the exchange of scientific achievements and for undertaking joint research initiatives. 

 Each year the conference takes place in a different academic center in Poland. The first two editions were organized by the University of Szczecin (2015, 2016), and then by the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (2017), the University of Łódź (2018), the University of Warsaw (2019), and the University of Economics in Katowice (2020). In 2021 conference has been held by the University of Szczecin. 

 In 2022, the conference is organized by the Wrocław University of Economics and Business (WUEB), Poland. 

 The VIII Conference on Business Informatics is organized by: 

  •  The Department of Business Intelligence in Management; 
  • The Department of Information Systems; 
  • The Department of Information Technologies; 
  • The Department of Process Management; 

and 

  •  The Department of Computer Science and International Accounting at the University of Economics in Katowice; 
  • The Department of Management Information Systems at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw; 
  • The Department of Information Systems and Logistics at the Faculty of Economics of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin; 
  • The Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz; 
  • The Department of Computer Science in Management and the Department of Decision Support Methods and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Szczecin. 

The 8th Conference of Business Informatics 2022 will be held on 1-2 December 2022 at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (WUEB), Poland.
